The Zhitong Finance App learned that some gold stocks fluctuated and rose. As of press release, China Gold International (02099) rose 3.76% to HK$276; Zijin Gold International (02259) rose 3.5% to HK$165.6; Zijin Mining (02899) rose 2.16% to HK$37.76; and Lingbao Gold (03330) rose 1.86% to HK$24.04.

According to the news, on the afternoon of September 9, spot gold continued to rise, returning to the 4,400 US dollar mark in the intraday period, rising more than 1%. Put an end to the previous three days of continuous decline. It is worth noting that the Central Bank of China increased its gold holdings by 650,000 ounces, or 20.2 tons, in August. Despite a nearly 10% increase in gold prices during the same period, the allocation was accelerated, and gold purchases continued for 22 months.

CITIC Futures said that the central bank's increase in holdings and the return of ETFs will jointly expand the sources of gold purchases and enhance demand resilience. Shenwan Futures believes that the geographical situation in the Middle East is tense, and international oil prices are once again rising, putting some pressure on precious metals prices. The August non-agricultural data surpassed market expectations and slightly raised expectations for September interest rate hikes, but the key to whether to raise interest rates is still the August CPI data to be released on September 11.
