The Volkswagen Group is considering divesting motorcycle manufacturer Ducati as part of a comprehensive overhaul of the German car company's huge business portfolio. Audi CEO Gnott Delorner said in an interview that out of a total of 2,000 VW businesses, 600 are being evaluated, and the Italian brand is among them. This renowned manufacturer of high-performance motorcycles is part of Volkswagen's Audi Group. “Within the VW Group, we adhere to strict and responsible business portfolio management.” Delorner said, “The investigation of Ducati is also part of the evaluation process, but no decisions have been made yet.”
