On September 8, Li Shulei, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with Ruan Chunsheng, chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Theoretical Committee, in Beijing. Li Shulei said that in April of this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Su Lin, who visited China, reached a series of new important agreements. The two sides should jointly implement the consensus of the top leaders of the two parties, carry out in-depth exchanges and mutual learning on the theory and experience of governing the Party and the country, and promote the establishment of a higher-level, strategically significant Sino-Vietnamese community of destiny. Ruan Chunsheng said that Vietnam is willing to study and draw on the historical experience of the Chinese Communist Party leading the Chinese people and Xi Jinping's ideology of party building to jointly promote the continuous development of the socialist cause of the two countries.
