Banco BPM Issues EUR750 Million Green Bond

11:47 PM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Banco BPM (BAMI.MI) issued a European green bond due in six years worth 750 million euros, according to a Monday release. The senior nonpreferred bond was issued at a price of 99.45%, with a fixed coupon of 4% and an issuer call date of September 2031. The Italian bank will mainly use the proceeds to refinance mortgages for the acquisition, refurbishment, or construction of buildings aligned with European taxonomy standards.
