Smart High-Tech Raises SEK102.4 Million; Henkel Unit Becomes Strategic Shareholder

06:59 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Smart High-Tech raised 102.4 million kronor through a directed share issue, with Henkel Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Henkel (HEN.F), becoming a strategic investor in the company. The nano-based materials technology company said Monday its board approved the issuance of 4,551,749 new B shares at 22.50 kronor per share. Henkel's corporate venture capital subscribed for roughly 71.11% of the directed issue. It will hold 9% of the shares and 6.67% of the votes in Smart High-Tech following the directed issue, while existing shareholders subscribed for the remaining 28.89%.
