On September 5, the Jiangxi Suichuan County Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters issued an information notice: Affected by heavy rainfall over the past few days caused by typhoon “Shader,” a landslide disaster occurred at around 4 a.m. on September 5 in the Shixia Group of Mingkeng Village, Gaoping Town, Suichuan County. As a result, 12 houses were damaged. Of these, 8 houses were completely damaged and 4 houses were generally damaged. Currently, 3 people have been rescued, and 11 people are still missing. After the disaster occurred, various departments such as emergency response, fire, health, public security, transportation, electricity, and communications organized rescue forces to quickly carry out rescue operations, make every effort to search and rescue the trapped people, properly relocate and resettle the affected people, and strictly prevent secondary disasters from occurring.
