The Zhitong Finance App learned that Malaysian business consulting firm V Capital Consulting Group (VCCG.US) announced its initial public offering (IPO) terms on Thursday. The Kuala Lumpur-based company plans to raise $30 million by issuing 7.5 million shares at a price of $4.00. Based on the proposed issue price, V Capital Consulting Group's market capitalization will reach US$142 million.
The company initially applied for a US IPO in January 2026, and most recently revised its prospectus in March; in the latest filing, V Capital Consulting Group also changed its lead underwriter.
V Capital Consulting Group provides companies with listing consulting and business strategy consulting services. The company provides end-to-end listing solutions, covering organizational preparation consulting, due diligence process management, peer and industry analysis, assistance in drafting issuance materials, and providing customers with full support during the listing process.
VCCG was born out of Malaysian consulting firm VCI Global (VCIG.US), which was listed on the NASDAQ in 2023. V Capital Consulting Group was restructured in 2026, and VCI Global sold all of its shares in VCCG to VHKL — an entity controlled by VCIG CEO Hoo Voon Him, for a transaction consideration of $34 million (this amount has not been paid, but must be paid in cash and/or shares by December 15, 2028); after the sale was completed, Hoo Voon HIM transferred all of his controlling interest in VHKL to him His wife, Liew Soo Hua, is VCCG's executive director.
V Capital Consulting Group was founded in 2016 and achieved revenue of $11 million in the 12 months ending December 31, 2025. The company plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker VCCG. Craft Capital Management acted as the sole bookkeeper for the transaction, replacing the original D. Boral Capital.
