Li Tao, deputy director of the National Health Insurance Administration, said at a press conference on the “Getting Started” series held by the State Information Office on the 4th that the basic medical insurance drug catalogue will continue to be adjusted every year to include more eligible innovative drugs for major diseases and key areas such as tumors, chronic diseases, rare diseases, and childhood diseases in medical insurance reimbursement, and focus on promoting the unification of medical service programs and medical consumables reimbursement catalogues across the country to further reduce policy differences between regions.
