On September 2, Apple's new CEO John Tenus issued his first letter to all employees after taking office. In the letter, he praised the company's strong product reserves and warm-up for the new product launch to be held next week. Tenus said he is looking forward to future developments, “including major products that are currently being developed, as well as products we have not yet imagined but will be co-conceived and created.” In his letter, he also thanked Tim Cook for sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience during this handover, as well as his contributions to Apple over the years. Cook will continue as Apple's executive chairman.
