Zhitong Finance App learned that according to US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosure documents, Wella Company (WELA.US), a beauty brand holding company under KKR, officially submitted an initial public offering (IPO) application this Monday, and the market expects its fundraising scale to exceed 500 million US dollars.

Wella Company is a global producer of hair and nail products, with a portfolio of well-known brands. The company was spun off and acquired by KKR from Coty (Coty) in 2020. It claims to be the world's largest independent company focusing on the hair and nail business, covering more than 100 countries and regions around the world. Its product line covers hair coloring, hair care, styling, care products, nail polish and nail care products, and equipment such as hair dryers. Its brand matrix also includes professional salons and retail channels, including Wella Professionals, GHD, Clairol, OPI, Wella/Koleston, Sebastian Professional, and Nioxin.

Currently, Wella serves more than 250,000 hair and nail salons and hundreds of thousands of stylists around the world. Among them, the high-end hair color and hair care brand Wella Professionals has been at the top of the global salon hair coloring brand list for six consecutive years, and the nail care brand OPI has also ranked first in the global high-end retail nail category.

The company is headquartered in New York and Geneva, Switzerland, and its history dates back to 1880. In the 12 months ending June 30, 2026, the company achieved revenue of 2.9 billion US dollars. Wella plans to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol “WELA.” The company secretly filed a listing application with the SEC on April 17, 2026.

The IPO has a large lineup of co-lead underwriters, including Goldman Sachs (Goldman Sachs), BofA Securities (BofA Securities), KKR, J.P. Morgan (J.P.
