Dormakaba to Streamline Ownership Structure Under New Deal with Mankel Family

01:42 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dormakaba (DOKA.SW) said Tuesday it is looking to streamline its ownership structure through a new agreement with its 10.8% owner, the Mankel family. The Swiss security systems group will buy the family's 47.5% stake in its operating business for 2.13 billion francs. The Mankel family will receive 36,161,560 new shares in the holding company at 58.0989 francs per share, plus 29.9 million francs in cash. The transaction will give the Mankel family 52.09% of the holding company's shares and voting rights. Shareholders will consider the proposal at the company's annual general meeting scheduled for Oct. 20, 2026. Completion is expected on Jan. 7, 2027, subject to the approval of shareholders and relevant regulators, among other conditions.
