I learned from Pinglu Canal Group that on August 31, Pinglu Canal's first command and management ship “Pinglu 001” was officially put into use. The ship integrates functions such as waterway inspection, navigation dispatch, and water emergency command. It is the first command and management ship officially listed on the Pinglu Canal. The “Pinglu 001” is an intelligent command ship with a total length of 39.20 meters and a battery life of no less than 600 kilometers. The ship has been classified by the China Classification Society and can sail safely in coastal navigation areas and Class A and B waters of the Pinglu Canal Inland River. The entire ship has an approved crew of 7, can carry 50 operators, and can be used by 57 people, making it capable of quickly transporting personnel and providing comprehensive on-site emergency support while undertaking command functions. The ship is equipped with advanced systems such as Beidou positioning, electronic nautical charts, radar, and an echo sounder, and is equipped with a shore power onboard device. At present, “Pinglu 001” has successfully arrived at the Qinzhou Water Integrated Service Area. The “Pinglu 001” smart navigation system will carry out comprehensive joint debugging with canal infrastructure to achieve intelligent functions such as data fusion, remote sensing, and auxiliary decision-making.
