Simone Development Leases Up Mount Vernon Warehouse

Simone Development Companies has signed two new leases totaling 36,000 square feet at its Mount Vernon, NY industrial center, marking the full lease-up of the two-story, 63,445-square-foot property. Located at 560 South Third Avenue, the facility features on-site parking, high clear ceiling heights, and a drive-in and loading dock, along with convenient access to the Hutchinson River Parkway, I-95 North and South, and U.S. Route 1.

“The full lease-up of 560 South Third Avenue reinforces Mount Vernon’s essential role in the regional supply chain,” said Joanna Simone, President of Leasing and Property Management Operations for Simone Development in a statement.

The family-owned real estate investment firm has a portfolio exceeding 7 million square feet across the New York City area. Elsewhere in Mount Vernon, a joint venture of Simone Development and Stagg Group recently topped off QWest Towers, a $158-million workforce housing development at 1 and 25 North MacQuesten Pkwy.
