Cmb.Tech (ENXTBR:CMBT) has drawn fresh attention after reporting significantly higher revenue and net income for the first half of 2026, alongside a proposed cash distribution that combines a dividend and a share premium payout.
For the six months to June 30, 2026, Cmb.Tech reported revenue of US$1,655.5m and net income of US$733.21m. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations came in at US$2.53, the same as diluted earnings per share.
At the same time, the Supervisory Board proposed a total cash distribution of US$0.64 per share. This would include an intermediary dividend of US$0.21 per share, which is subject to 30% withholding tax where no exemption or reduction applies.
The remaining US$0.43 per share is set to be paid out of available share premium, which is exempt from withholding tax according to the company. The distribution still requires approval from the Shareholders Meeting before it can be paid.
Cmb.Tech has said further information on the payment date, record date and other practical details is expected once shareholders give their approval. The company currently guides that the payment date should fall in October 2026, subject to that process.
