According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hong Kong China Travel Service (00308) announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group achieved revenue of HK$2,056 million during the period, an increase of 12.56% over the previous year; profit attributable to the company's equity holders was HK$112 million, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit; and a basic profit of HK2.02 cents per share.
In the first half of 2026, the second half of 2025 brought new revenue growth points to the Group as Songhua Lake Company and China Travel Ice and Snow Company were spun off from the Group through the completion of physical distribution; overall revenue increased compared to the same period last year. In the first half of 2026, the Group's total revenue from continuing operations in tourist attractions and related businesses was HK$989 million, an increase of 37% over the same period of the previous year; accrued profit was HK$108 million, and profit attributable to the same period last year was HK$22 million.
Affected by factors such as increased market competition and rainy weather, theme park revenue in the first half of 2026 was HK$253 million, a decrease of 7% compared to the same period last year; net profit was HK$18 million, a decrease of 20% over the same period last year.
Revenue from natural and cultural attractions was HK$517 million, an increase of 14% over the same period of the previous year; accrued profit was HK$46 million, an increase of 2,472% over the same period last year. The operating performance of several scenic spots reached record highs, and newly invested scenic spot projects contributed revenue and profits.
The revenue of leisure resort destinations was HK$219 million. Profit attributable was HK$44 million. Among them, Songhua Lake Company and China Travel Ice and Snow Company had revenue of HK$163 million and HK$45 million respectively. The leisure resort destination business will implement a snow and ice tourism upgrade plan, speed up the construction of a new ski hall, and prepare for the new snow season.
