EQT Closes Up to $3.7 Billion Acquisition of Secondaries Platform Coller Capital

05:31 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EQT (EQT.ST) completed the acquisition of secondaries platform Coller Capital for a base consideration of $3.2 billion, according to a Monday release. The consideration for the transaction included 80,360,882 shares, reflecting 7% of the Swedish private equity company's total outstanding shares. The deal also included up to $500 million in contingent consideration, subject to Coller's performance in the 12 months to March 2029. Coller was rebranded as Coller EQT upon completion of the transaction. The business was integrated into the group's secondaries business segment.
