According to news, Laopu Gold achieved revenue of 19.808 billion yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 60.3%; profit attributable to company owners was 4.267 billion yuan, an increase of 88.2% year on year; adjusted net profit of 4.32 billion yuan, an increase of 83.6%. Based on the performance forecast range for the first quarter, combined with the semi-annual report, Laosou Gold's net profit for the second quarter fell in the range of 520 million yuan to 720 million yuan; the revenue range was in the range of 2.308 billion yuan to 3.308 billion yuan. Compared to the first quarter, the second quarter results declined sharply.

Damo published a research report to reduce the company's net profit for 2026-2027 by 2-3%. Currently, net profit is expected to increase by 42% year-on-year to RMB 6.9 billion in 2026, which means that the second half of the year will only increase by 3% year-on-year; net profit will increase by 3% in 2027. According to the report, although the price of gold has rebounded 15% after falling 28% from the end of February to the end of June, and demand for gold products has shown early signs of month-on-month improvement, the bank believes that the recovery in demand will be gradual, and the year-to-year comparison base for September/October is too high. Revenue is currently expected to drop 11% year-on-year in the second half of 2026.
