The first year's production will be around 1,000 vehicles per month, and the annual production will increase to tens of thousands of units starting in 2028. Industry insiders believe that Toyota's move not only focuses on the Chinese market, but also aims to use China's technological and industrial advantages to enhance global competitiveness. With the rapid development of China's NEV market, Toyota is increasing its R&D investment in China, shifting part of its electric vehicle R&D business to China, and speeding up the product development process.
