Ruian Construction (00983) announced interim results with profit attributable to company holders of HK$30 million, turning a year-on-year loss into profit

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Ruian Construction Industry (00983) announced its 2026 interim results. The turnover of continuing operations was HK$2,941 billion, a decrease of 19.2% over the previous year; the company's owners should account for profit of HK$30 million, turning a loss into a profit over the previous year.

According to the announcement, the improvement in performance was mainly due to reduced losses due to property sales and inventory impairment in mainland China, lower financial expenses, and increased exchange earnings during the mid-term period.
