According to the Zhitong Finance App, Sunshine Insurance (06963) announced its 2026 interim results, with insurance service revenue of 32.355 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%; total premium income of 90.906 billion yuan, an increase of 12.5%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of 4.694 billion yuan, an increase of 38.5%; and earnings per share of 0.41 yuan. The Group's value was $129.43 billion, up 7.2% from the end of the previous year. At the end of June 2026, the number of active customers was 32.127 million.

In the first half of 2026, Sunshine Life achieved total premium income of 67.16 billion yuan, an increase of 21.1% over the previous year; achieved a new business value of 4.66 billion yuan, an increase of 16.4% over the previous year.

In the first half of 2026, Sunshine Financial Insurance achieved original premium income of 23.62 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.5%, mainly affected by the company's suspension of additional financing guarantee insurance business in 2026. The original premium income for non-guaranteed insurance was 24.01 billion yuan, an increase of 5.3% over the previous year. Net profit was 80 million yuan, up 55.1% year over year. The comprehensive underwriting cost ratio was 98.7%, down 0.1 percentage points year on year; realized underwriting profit of 310 million yuan, up 8.3% year on year.
