According to the Zhitong Finance App, Basic Semiconductor (09971) announced interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The Group's revenue increased 15.5% from RMB 104 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025 to RMB 121 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Overall gross margin improved from -28.8% for the six months ended June 30, 2025 to 2.8% for the six months ended June 30, 2026, a significant improvement of 31.6 percentage points, achieving the milestone of positive gross margin. During the reporting period, the company's loss for the period was RMB 162 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8.8%; adjusted net loss (measured in non-IFRS) was RMB 112 million, a decrease of 15.1% year-on-year.

During the reporting period, the company continued to advance R&D and platform iteration around the three major product directions of silicon carbide discrete devices, silicon carbide power modules, and power semiconductor gate drivers, and the overall technology platform capacity continued to improve. Focusing on specific application directions: continuous iteration of automotive-grade silicon carbide power modules in the automotive sector, multiple series of new products have been launched; many new products in the industrial field have entered the sampling, verification or introduction stage; the consumer electronics sector has completed the development of new process platforms and launched products covering corresponding needs.

During the reporting period, the company continued to make efforts to cultivate existing customers, expand new customers, and break through overseas customers. Industrial-grade silicon carbide power modules have expanded to more than 60 new customers, and the products have been adopted in AI data centers of leading domestic telecom operators; demand for electroplating power supplies continues to increase, with cumulative orders exceeding 30,000. Silicon carbide discrete devices were successfully introduced to many leading domestic consumer electronics customers and officially entered scenarios such as LED lighting power supplies, PD fast charging, power adapters and smart home appliances. In terms of overseas expansion, automotive-grade silicon carbide power modules have obtained new targets for overseas vehicle projects from European Tier 1 suppliers.
