On August 28, the Shanghai Futures Exchange issued a notice on the “Administrative Measures for Market Makers on the Shanghai Futures Exchange”. The “Administrative Measures for Market Makers on the Shanghai Futures Exchange” were reviewed and approved by the Shanghai Futures Exchange Council and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. They have now been issued and implemented from September 11, 2026.
