According to the terms of the deal, Xiying raised about US$1.7 billion through its Hong Kong IPO and sold 280 million shares at an issue price of HK$48.56 per share. About 40% of the capital raised will be used to enhance technical capabilities; another 40% will be used to enhance brand awareness and expand global business layout, 10% will be invested in corporate social responsibility related projects; 10% will be used for general corporate purposes. Cornerstone investors and pre-IPO investors are locked in for six months. Cornerstone investors include Boyu Capital, Tiger Global Fund, Pan Atlantic Investment Group, Tencent, Jinglin Asset, Taikang, and UBS Asset Management. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and J.P. Morgan Chase acted as co-sponsors.
