Tianqi Lithium (09696) announced interim results. Profit attributable to shareholders of 4.236 billion yuan increased 4788.84% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Tianqi Lithium (09696) announced interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group obtained revenue of RMB 12.224 billion (same unit), an increase of 153.55% over the previous year; the profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was RMB 4.236 billion, an increase of 4788.84% over the previous year; and the basic profit per share was 2.5 yuan.

According to the announcement, the increase in total revenue was mainly due to the increase in the average sales price of the Group's lithium products and sales volume of lithium compounds and derivatives over the reporting period compared to the same period last year.
