The Macao SAR Government announced today that Macau Light Rail Co., Ltd. will extend the trial measures to ease entry with bicycles on Saturday and Sunday until December 31 this year to facilitate passengers to plan their daily and leisure itineraries during the holidays and enjoy more diverse travel options. According to the trial measures, passengers taking the light rail can bring bicycles into the gate every Saturday and Sunday, but they must fold or remove the one-sided wheel before entering the gate, and the length of the treated body must not exceed 180 cm; while bicycles with an original length of less than 130 cm do not need to fold or remove the wheels. The light rail company will further collect opinions from passengers and will continue to review and optimize relevant regulations to promote green travel, balance the rational use of car space, and provide passengers with a more convenient and comfortable ride experience.
