ST. LOUIS (AP) — ST. LOUIS (AP) — Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (BBW) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $8.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the St. Louis-based company said it had profit of 70 cents.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 70 cents per share.

The toy retailer posted revenue of $115.3 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $121.7 million.

Build-A-Bear expects full-year revenue in the range of $500 million to $525 million.

Build-A-Bear shares have declined 36% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 32% in the last 12 months.
