US Probes Kuehne+Nagel's Singapore Unit Over Alleged AI Chip Shipments

05:55 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kuehne+Nagel (KNIN.SW) confirmed on Thursday that its Singapore-based freight forwarding unit Apex Logistics is cooperating with a US government investigation following reports of its involvement in smuggling Nvidia semiconductor chips to China. "Kuehne+Nagel has not been contacted by the authorities and, as this matter does not relate to Kuehne+Nagel and remains subject to an ongoing investigation," the logistics company said in a statement to MT Newswires. US authorities are examining whether Apex Logistics transported AI systems manufactured by Super Micro Computer and whether those shipments may have violated US export restrictions, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
