On August 27, Interface News learned that AstraZeneca and Amgen announced that tezerizumab had obtained positive results in the phase III CROSSING test. The study looked at patients with eosinophilic esophagitis. Results showed that compared to placebo, tezelizumab reached two common main endpoints in week 24, namely histological relief and improvement in the frequency and severity of dysphagia, and the improvement continued until week 52. Previously, tezeliumab had been approved for severe asthma and chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps in many countries and regions, including China.
