Prudential (02378) subsidiary PCHL sells 9.8852 million IPAMC shares

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Prudential (02378) issued an announcement regarding PCHL (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Prudential) carrying out an open market sale procedure to sell up to 2.0% of its shares in IPAMC on the Indian Stock Exchange. On August 27, 2026, PCHL, through ICICI Securities Limited and BofA Securities India Limited, concluded and successfully completed an on-market sale to sell 9.8852 million IPAMC shares (2.0% of IPAMC's total issued and paid up share capital) to public investors on the Indian Stock Exchange at a price of 3,065 IPAMC shares per IPAMC share. Proceeds from the sale amounted to INR 30 billion (approximately US$300 million) (before deducting related transaction fees and applicable taxes). At the completion of the sale, PCHL's shareholding ratio in IPAMC was reduced to 32.59%.
