At 14:00 on the same day, the Shanghai Ocean Monitoring and Forecasting Center issued an orange warning signal for storm surges: Affected by Typhoon No. 18 of this year, “Shader,” a storm surge of up to 60-100 cm is expected from this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon. It is an astronomical high tide warning level. The storm surge warning level for the Changjiang Koubao Town, Wusongkou, and Gaoqiao section is blue; the storm surge warning level for the Luchao Port section on the north coast of Hangzhou Bay is orange, and the storm surge warning level for the Jinshan estuary section is yellow. All relevant units are requested to take precautions in advance.
