At about 10:30 on August 26, a landslide disaster occurred on the Nepalese side, causing serious casualties and loss of connectivity at Geelong Port in Jilong County, Shigatse City, Tibet. The Ministry of Emergency Management and the State Fire and Rescue Administration dispatched 111 fire rescue fighters from the Chinese rescue team to the disaster site for reinforcements. At present, the first Chinese rescue team charter flight has completed preparations for takeoff. It is scheduled to fly from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport to Shigatse Dingri Airport at 6 o'clock this morning.
