Philips Secures $34 Million US Grant for AI-enabled Robotic Stroke Care

10:51 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Koninklijke Philips (PHIA.AS) was awarded up to $33.7 million by a US agency to advance artificial intelligence-enabled robotic stroke care. The Dutch health technology company received the award under the Autonomous Interventions and Robotics program of the US Department of Health and Human Services' Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health, according to a Wednesday release. Philips will work with Johns Hopkins University and Boston University under the program to develop technologies for remote-assisted and automated endovascular procedures.
