Abercrombie: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot

NEW ALBANY, Ohio (AP) — NEW ALBANY, Ohio (AP) — Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $183.7 million.

The New Albany, Ohio-based company said it had profit of $4.17 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $2.42 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.95 per share.

The teen clothing retailer posted revenue of $1.27 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.24 billion.

Abercrombie expects full-year earnings to be $13.10 to $13.60 per share.

Abercrombie shares have fallen 13% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 9% in the last 12 months.
