According to the Zhitong Finance App, Tehai International (09658) announced results for the second quarter of 2026, with revenue of about US$219 million, an increase of 10.0% over the previous year. The owner of the company should have accounted for a loss of US$1.898 million, which turned profit and loss over the same period last year.

Among them, Haidilao Restaurant's operating revenue was approximately US$198 million, an increase of 4.6% over the same period in 2025. This increase is mainly due to (i) the significant improvement in the operating performance of Haidilao restaurants, an increase in the overall average turnover rate and increase in customer traffic, and a further increase in brand influence; and (ii) the continued expansion of the restaurant network, which increased the overall number of stores compared to the same period last year.

According to the announcement, the main reason for this quarter's net exchange loss was an increase of 20.6 million US dollars compared to the same period in 2025, which was mainly affected by foreign exchange fluctuations, especially the depreciation of the local currency against the US dollar.

Mr. Li Yu, CEO and Executive Director of Tehai International, said, “Thanks to the continuous advancement of the 'one hand focuses on employees, one hand' strategy, a series of initiatives and investments in employee, customer and store management over the past year have further consolidated the company's operating foundation and gradually transformed into stronger operational resilience and higher operating efficiency.”

“In the second quarter of 2026, the company's overall revenue increased 10.0% year on year to US$218.8 million; operating profit margin was 3.7%, up 1.8 percentage points year on year, further improving operating efficiency. During the period, the overall average turnover rate of Haidilao restaurants and the overall average turnover rate of same-store restaurants both increased 0.1 times per day year on year, and the revenue of Haidilao restaurants increased 4.6% year on year. At the same time, the company continued to expand its revenue sources, and the total revenue from takeout and other businesses increased 114.3% year over year, further enriching the business structure and providing new impetus for the company's growth.”
