The group obtained insurance income of HK$1,532 billion during the period, an increase of 5.52% over the previous year; profit attributable to the company's shareholders of HK$666 million, an increase of 57.29% over the previous year; basic profit per share of HK72.1 cents; and plans to distribute an interim dividend of HK7 cents per share.
