The Zhitong Finance App learned that on the morning of August 26, Beijing time, JOYY.US (JOYY.US) released financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Huanju's total revenue for the second quarter reached US$590.8 million, up 16.3% year on year and 6.3% month on month, achieving both year-on-month growth. The three core business segments all achieved year-on-year growth: social entertainment revenue of US$422.7 million, up 7.4% year on year and 5.6% month on month; advertising technology business BIGO Ads revenue of US$133.7 million, up 53.1% year on year and 7.1% month on month; and SHOPLINE's revenue reached US$34.4 million, further increasing the year-on-year growth rate to 28.6%, or 12.5% month-on-month. As diversified businesses continued to grow, the Group's share of non-live streaming revenue further increased to 31.8%.
In the second quarter, Huanju's non-GAAP operating profit and EBITDA reached 49.1 million US dollars and 56.9 million US dollars respectively, up 28.2% and 18.1% year over year, up 29.4% and 24.4% month on month. Operating cash flow for the quarter reached US$64.9 million. As of June 30, the Group held net cash of US$3.06 billion.
Based on the better-than-expected overall operating situation in the first half of the year and operating leverage brought about by improvements in the operating efficiency of various businesses, Huanju Group raised its 2026 non-GAAP operating profit forecast and is expected to achieve a year-on-year increase of about 20% for the whole year.
In terms of shareholder returns, Huanju Group continued to promote repurchases and dividends. From January 1 to August 21, 2026, it accumulated repurchases of US$216.4 million, paid out US$142.4 million in dividends, and a total of US$358.8 million in shareholder returns.
