BW LPG's Indian Unit Sells LPG Tanker

10:51 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BW LPG's (BWLPG.OL) 52%-owned subsidiary BW LPG India signed an agreement to sell the liquefied petroleum gas tanker BW Birch. The sale is expected to result in a net book gain of $37 million and net cash proceeds of $64 million on a 100% basis, according to a Tuesday release. The vessel is operating under a time charter agreement and is scheduled to be delivered to the buyer by mid-November.
