The National Energy Administration held the launch meeting of the 2nd China-International Renewable Energy Administration Cooperation Task Force on August 24. Wang Jianbo, member of the party group and deputy director of the National Energy Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The conference summarized the results of the previous phase of the work of the Cooperative Task Force and studied and deployed key tasks for the next phase. The conference emphasized that we should fully understand the importance of deepening cooperation with IRENA to enhance our global energy governance capabilities and serve the construction of our energy power. The conference called for closely focusing on the national energy development strategy, giving full play to the overall coordination advantages of the China-IRENA “1+1+N” cooperation mechanism, actively carrying out various cooperation matters, promoting the deepening and implementation of cooperation between China and IRENA, and contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to the global energy transition and renewable energy development.
