The Zhitong Finance App learned that recently, Youchao Innovation (02431) officially announced that the company has been designated as a joint venture brand under a world-renowned car company and will provide an iSafety 4 high-performance front-view all-in-one for its passenger car platform. The project is scheduled to be mass-produced in 2027, and the estimated supporting scale will reach millions of units during the project cycle.

The designated iSafety 4 high-performance front-view intelligent driving all-in-one machine is based on the Horizon Journey® 6B chip to meet the needs of mainstream passenger car platform-level intelligent upgrades, and has completed comprehensive optimization in terms of functional architecture, driving performance, safety compliance, and global adaptation. At the core functional level, iSafety 4 can achieve refined driving assistance capabilities such as traffic at traffic lights, pre-deceleration in seconds, and extreme avoidance of dynamic and static targets in the lane, effectively improving driving safety and driving comfort; at the same time, it also supports the expansion of cockpit assistance functions such as DMS driver monitoring and RVC rearview images to achieve integrated coverage of intelligent driving and cockpit capabilities. As a global positioning product, iSafety 4 has also built a complete compliance system, compatible with overseas regulations and standards such as GSR 2.0 and ENCAP 2026, while supporting large-scale domestic implementation and overseas market business expansion.

The total order amount for the project was about 320 million yuan, and mass production and delivery were carried out one after another at the beginning of this year.

The targeted launch of the platform is a concentrated expression of Youjia's innovative hard-core technology accumulation and mass production engineering capabilities. Compared with single-model projects, platform-based projects usually cover more models and have a larger scale of mass production, and place higher demands on the supplier's engineering adaptation efficiency, cost control capacity and front-loading delivery system. It also accurately fits the pace of implementation of smart driving standards in China, and pushes strategic cooperation between the two sides to a deeper level.

According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the penetration rate of domestic passenger car L2 class assisted driving has exceeded 70%. Meanwhile, mandatory standards related to L2 combined assisted driving, which are scheduled to be officially implemented on January 1, 2027, will further reshape industry entry rules.
