According to the Zhitong Finance App, Shengyang Investment (00174) announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with revenue of HK$325 million, a year-on-year decrease of 21.1%; losses attributable to the company's shareholders of HK$336 million, an increase of 185.3% over the previous year; and a basic loss of HK$0.53 per share.

The increase in losses during the period was mainly due to a decline in revenue, mostly due to a decrease in rental income and ancillary service income due to the sale of several investment properties, and no property sales were obtained during the period. The reason was that the company had no remaining units to sell in its New York City development project. Some property valuations were lowered as a result of the continued adjustments in the US and Hong Kong commercial real estate markets due to multiple factors such as slowing economic growth, continued inflation and rising interest rates.
