The reporter learned from the China Red Cross Society on August 25 that in response to the severe impact of typhoon “Zitan” on Guangxi, the Chinese Red Cross Society initiated an emergency response and distributed 6,500 items of towels, quilts, family relief kits, etc. to the affected areas in Guangxi; the China Red Cross Foundation supported more than 4,400 boxes of household relief boxes, water buckets, instant noodles, bread, and milk to support the affected areas in the relocation, resettlement and livelihood security work.
