After completion, the project will become the largest “waste to energy” incineration facility in Hong Kong, once again demonstrating the Group's outstanding strength in the field of environmental engineering. In the same period, Hong Kong's investment business achieved a historic breakthrough, and the Group won the bid for the first BOT project launched by the government after Hong Kong's return - the Tsing Yi Advanced Construction Industry Building. The Group has always been committed to benefiting Hong Kong people's livelihood with MiC. The first comprehensive residential development project at No. 16-20 Temple Street, Yau Ma Tei, was successfully leveled. The largest Kai Tak World Canal project in the “Simple Public Housing” program was completed and delivered, and the Group received a “Letter of Commendation for Completion” from the Architectural Services Department. On the Macau side, the operating efficiency of the M8 Macau 8 project, which is located in the core area of Macau's World Heritage Historic City, has been improving, and passenger traffic and turnover have achieved double-digit growth over the same period last year.
While the investment business continues to be optimized, the Group gives full play to the advantages of MiC technology to quickly develop the high-energy city market. The Group has won the second bid in Shanghai for MiYuan Demolition and Urban Renewal — Guangling One Village Project in Hongkou District, Shanghai. The first MiC commercial housing demolition and reconstruction project in Lane 65, Tianlin Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, was the largest urban renewal project in the country using modular construction. It was successfully delivered on June 17, 2026 and was well received by all sectors of society; in Beijing, the country's first MiC commercial housing, Zhonghai Jiushuman, is popular in Tongzhou. In order to meet the rapidly growing demand for MiC in the Guangzhou market, China Construction Hailong Technology Co., Ltd. (“China Construction Hailong”) has competed for a plot in Baiyun District and is preparing to build a factory. The Group has optimized the MiC production capacity layout in recent years, concentrating production capacity in first-tier cities or their surrounding areas. In the future, as demonstration effects of benchmark projects continue to be released, MiC is expected to usher in greater development.
China Construction Development Group, a subsidiary of the Group, maintains the business strategy of “deepening Hong Kong and Macao, consolidating the mainland, and focusing on key overseas markets”. In the first half of the year, China Construction Development Group won bids for large-scale projects such as Hong Kong housing and Macau public construction and renovation; Hong Kong and Macau's leading position was further consolidated; it continued to target high-quality owners in the mainland and won bids for high-end hotels, commercial complexes, etc.; and continued to deepen cooperative relationships with major local owners in Singapore. The outstanding implementation of existing projects will lay a solid foundation for future market competition. In terms of BIPV (photovoltaic building integration), China Construction Development continues to improve the Light series product matrix, strengthen research and development of new products, achieve industry-leading core performance, and greatly improve process quality. This year's bid for a public housing development project on Tak Tin Street in Kwun Tong is expected to become the first mobile photovoltaic tracking system technology benchmark in Hong Kong.
