The Medical and Health Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government held a joint press conference on the 25th to announce the Hong Kong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Service Expansion Plan. 24-hour inpatient services will be carried out in stages. Bian Zhaoxiang, executive director of the Hong Kong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, explained at the conference that the hospital will launch 24-hour inpatient services in stages starting December 11 this year. The first phase has 93 inpatient beds, 20 clinical trial and research center beds, and 2 intensive care beds. The total number of hospital beds provided by hospitals is expected to reach 400 by the end of 2030.
