As typhoon “Shader” approaches, in order to ensure maritime traffic safety, the Fujian Maritime Administration initiated a level 2 emergency response against the typhoon at 14:00 on the 25th, with Ningde, Fuzhou, Pingtan, and Putian as the core defense priorities. The Fujian Maritime Administration has successively implemented “shutdown and withdrawal” measures for passenger ferry routes and offshore construction projects. As of 12:00 on the 25th, a total of 22 passenger ferry routes had been suspended along the Fujian coast, 44 passenger ferries had been suspended, 41 water construction projects had been suspended, 116 construction vessels had been evacuated, and activities such as towing, test sailing, scientific research, wind power operation and maintenance of coastal vessels in Fujian Province had stopped.
