Finance Minister Ekniti Nititamprapas told reporters on Tuesday that the cabinet has approved amendments to four laws relating to finance, capital markets, and digital assets. Ekniti said that the revised draft will allow the SEC staff and the police to jointly investigate cases, thereby strengthening enforcement powers. The revised proposal will also expand the scope of regulation of electronic transactions.
