Chesnara Returns to H1 Profit; Insurance Revenue Up

02:33 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Chesnara (CSN.L) said Tuesday that it swung to a profit in the first half, while insurance revenue jumped year over year. Profit for the six months ended June 30 was 600,000 pounds sterling, compared with a loss of 10.8 million pounds a year ago. EPS stood at 0.0022 pound, compared with a loss per share of 0.0702 pound. The British insurer's insurance revenue was 255.9 million pounds, compared with 136 million pounds earlier. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.0816 pound per share, payable on Oct. 16 to shareholders on record Sept. 4. It paid 0.077 pound per share a year ago.
