German Quarterly GDP Up 0.3% in Q2, Final Data Shows

02:08 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's quarterly gross domestic product ticked up 0.3% in the second quarter, after a 0.4% gain in the prior three-month period, final data from the Federal Statistical Office showed Tuesday. The final reading compares with the flash estimate of a 0.2% uptick. On a yearly basis, the German economy expanded by 1% during the quarter, against the initial reading of a 0.9% rise.
