On August 25, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity statistics for January-July. By the end of July, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity was 4.08 billion kilowatts, an increase of 11.0% over the previous year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was 1.29 billion kilowatts, up 16.1% year on year; the installed capacity of wind power was 690 million kilowatts, up 19.5% year on year. In January-July, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 1,671 hours, a decrease of 135 hours compared to the same period last year.
