Insiders Relieved After Selling FlexQube With 16% Price Dip

Simply Wall St·08/24/2026 08:52:21
Listen to the news

Insiders seem to have made the most of their holdings by selling kr1.2m worth of FlexQube AB (publ) (STO:FLEXQ) stock at an average sell price of kr25.72 during the past year. After the stock price dropped 16% last week, the company's market value declined by kr124m, but insiders were able to mitigate their losses.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At FlexQube

The Co-Founder, Per Augustsson, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for kr1.2m worth of shares at a price of kr26.00 each. So it's clear an insider wanted to take some cash off the table, even below the current price of kr39.00. As a general rule we consider it to be discouraging when insiders are selling below the current price, because it suggests they were happy with a lower valuation. However, while insider selling is sometimes discouraging, it's only a weak signal. We note that the biggest single sale was only 3.2% of Per Augustsson's holding. Per Augustsson was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.

Insider Ownership

For a common shareholder, it is worth checking how many shares are held by company insiders. A high insider ownership often makes company leadership more mindful of shareholder interests. FlexQube insiders own about kr244m worth of shares. That equates to 36% of the company. While this is a strong but not outstanding level of insider ownership, it's enough to indicate some alignment between management and smaller shareholders.

So What Does This Data Suggest About FlexQube Insiders?
