The Zhitong Finance App learned that ByteDance recently completed the strategic integration of its AI office product line. The TRAE and Coze (Coze) teams will be integrated into the Doubao system. Among them, TRAE Work and Button will integrate Doubao's product capabilities in the work scene, while TRAE IDE and CLI will continue to develop the programming product line under the Doubao brand. After the adjustment, the relevant product and operation teams uniformly reported to Zhao Qi, the person in charge of Doubao products.

TRAE is an AI native programming tool owned by ByteDance. It was released in early 2025. As an AI IDE that is more suited to the development habits and development scenarios of Chinese developers, Trae has created a new development experience with human-robot collaboration and mutual reinforcement between humans and AI, helping developers efficiently respond to complex technical challenges. Coze (Coze) is ByteDance's one-stop AI agent development and workflow orchestration platform. It was launched in February 2024. Through a low-code or even zero-code visualization method, users can quickly create, debug, and deploy AI chatbots, agents, and automated workflows without a deep programming foundation.

This architecture adjustment has clarified Doubao's backbone position in Byte's AI strategy, and resources for AI office products have also been further concentrated on Doubao. According to reports, Byte plans to launch the independent AI office product “Doubao Work” within this week, which will become its unified brand entrance for the AI office scene.
